Microchips will be professionally implanted by licensed veterinary staff from Stonebrook Family Pet Clinic.

The procedure is quick and simple and takes only a few seconds. The microchip is implanted just beneath the skin between the shoulder blades using a sterile, single-use needle.

Most pets experience only a brief pinch or moment of discomfort, similar to receiving a routine vaccination. No anesthesia or sedation is needed, and your pet can return to normal activity immediately afterward.

Microchipping is one of the simplest and most important ways to help reunite a lost pet with their family.

MMESAR will complete the initial registration of every microchip implanted at the event, so your pet leaves with their microchip properly registered to you at no cost.

Bring your pet! We can scan existing microchips and help verify or update registration and owner contact information.

Proof of ownership is required, but a rabies certificate is not required for pets that are only being scanned or having existing registration information updated.
