 At this time, we are unable to accept new search and capture requests. Our team is currently backlogged and working diligently to locate and safely capture dogs already on our active case list. We anticipate it may take several weeks to complete these cases.

Additionally, some team members are currently out due to illness or injury, which has temporarily reduced our operational capacity. While we typically do not intake dogs ourselves, we have made limited exceptions and currently have several dogs and cats in our care. These factors have further increased our workload and extended our case resolution timeline.

Once we have made significant progress on our current caseload, this page will be reopened for new capture requests. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we remain focused on bringing these dogs to safety. Thank you for your continued support.

FOUND STRAYS: If you have found and contained a stray, please transport him/her to your local municipal shelter for the jurisdiction where the animal was found or contact your local animal control to pick him/her up.  MMESAR does not intake stray animals.  *Municipal Open Intake shelters cannot legally refuse to intake a found stray or capture a stray animal, regardless of whether they are full or not. 

OWNER SURRENDERS: We do not intake owner surrenders as we do not have a foster home network or shelter.
