Regrettably, we are unable to accept new search and capture requests at this time.  Our team is currently backlogged with cases and working diligently to locate and safely capture animals already on our waiting list.  We anticipate it will take several weeks to complete these cases.

Additionally, due to team members being out with illnesses and injuries, our resources are more limited than usual. Also, while we typically do not take in animals ourselves, we made an exception and currently have several dogs and cats in our care.  These two factors have further added to our workload and extended our case resolution timeline.

Once we have made significant progress with our current case load, we will reopen this page for new capture requests. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we focus on bringing these animals to safety. Thank you for your support.

FOUND STRAYS: If you have found and contained a stray, please transport him/her to your local municipal shelter for the jurisdiction where the animal was found or contact your local animal control to pick him/her up.  MMESAR does not intake stray animals.  *Municipal Open Intake shelters cannot legally refuse to intake a found stray or capture a stray animal, regardless of whether they are full or not. 

OWNER SURRENDERS: We do not intake owner surrenders as we do not have a foster home network or shelter.
