Many companies offer a program that will match their employee’s donations to 501(c)(3) Nonprofits in order to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations.   Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift! 

Some companies will allow you to request a retro matching gift donation for a contribution that you made as far back as one year!  If you have made a donation in the past or plan to in the future, please check to see if your employer has a Gift Matching Program.
