Captured on Bouquet Dr. Frisco Texas
Case acceptance date: 10/11/2024
CAPTURED: 10/12/2024
Female, NO Microchip
A dog named Jojo was missing from Celina Texas for 9 days and her family was convinced that this very elusive stray dog who suddenly appeared in Frisco Texas was Jojo. Once we captured her, her family came to the capture scene and confirmed that it was in fact NOT Jojo.
We aren’t sure what this girls story is or where she came from but she is PRECIOUS and so so sweet.
We conducted 2 full body scans and she is not microchipped.
This princess is now at Collin County Animal Services on a stray hold. http://collincountytx.animalshelternet.com/stray_animal_details.cfm?AnimalUID=1143103
Someone has to be missing her but there is nothing on social media anywhere. Hopefully her family will claim her and she wasn’t discarded to the streets.
We will keep you posted on this sweetie!
✳️ We will continue working Jojo’s case and we hope there are sightings after the family saturates the area with flyers. To follow Jojo’s case, please visit her case page:

We put boots on the ground today and we deployed a live cellular video camera at Mari's already established feeding station. ~ It’s very important for us to confirm that she is eating at the feeding station before we make our next move.
We stepped up the food game and instead of continuing the dry kibble that Mari was putting out, we upgraded her to wet canned dog food with other tantalizing treats on top such as bacon, eggs, and canned chicken. That's our protocol for conditioning an extremely elusive dog for capture! IT WORKS!
As most of you know, we always put a pan of water under the food bowl to create an ant moat to keep ants out of the food. We also did a 40 yard liquid smoke scent trail to help lure her back to the station.
That didn’t take her long. Since we confirmed that she is eating at the previously established feeding station, we are putting our capture plan in motion.
This sweet girl is back looking for more food…..

UPDATE: 10/19/2024 ~ She was euthanized at Collin County Animal Services….
There’s absolutely nothing we could’ve done about it though and that’s what we all have to remember. Our team did our jobs and made sure she was no longer suffering and barely surviving on the streets.
Euthanasia will always suck and the shelter staff are put in a very bad position, but it’s not their fault. It’s the fault of everyone who does not spay and neuter their pets and causing us to be in a grossly overpopulated homeless situation. There’s just too many and the fire marshal puts tight restrictions on animal shelters and once they reach the fire marshals regulated capacity, they have absolutely no choice but to euthanize to make room for a new dogs coming in that need to sit on a stray hold. 😫 The shelter had absolutely no choice. Too many people are dumping animals and too many puppies are being born and that is putting the shelters in these positions to have to euthanize. We promise…. The staff doesn’t want to, but they are given NO CHOICE.
RIP sweet angel. ♥️ You are in a better place now!
