Sig’s family requested our assistance in locating, tracking, and capturing this extremely elusive sweetie who has been lost and running through the area for over a week.
We put boots on the ground today in the area of the most recent sightings. Our team will be working on site most of the day conducting aerial searches. Sig’s family had already started one feeding station outside of his home and we deployed a second feeding station in the area he has been seen at recently. Both stations are being video monitored. We did a long liquid smoke trail to help lure him to the second station.
Stay tuned to this page for more information and updates.
After several hours of conducting thermal aerial searches, our team successfully located Sig. We followed him from the air for approximately 40 minutes and coordinated for a family member named Jenny to intercept him under our direction. She followed all of our instructions precisely which included getting ahead of his travels, getting her belly to the ground, not making eye contact, and he literally snapped out of flight mode and walked right up to her when he realized she was not a threat. ~~~
We have the entire thing on drone video which we will post below momentarily.
