Wylie Animal Control contacted our team for our assistance in capturing a stray Shih Tzu type dog who has been roaming a neighborhood for several weeks. The local residents have posted all over neighborhood social pages but nobody has come forward saying that they are missing him. Animal Control has exhausted all of their efforts at capturing, including setting a trap that he wouldn’t go near. He is extremely frightened and elusive and will not let anyone get remotely close.
Our team is preparing to deploy within the next few days, so please be sure to follow the timeline below for updates.
We requested the help of a local resident named Christy and asked her to start a daily feeding station so that we could a prepare her for capture before our team arrives.
She was able to setup the station right away using our feeding protocol and thankfully he came to eat fairly soon after.
Local resident Christy has been feeding her at her home consistently for two days now and he has showed up each time to eat.
Our team is planning to be on site tomorrow morning (Saturday at 09:00) for equipment deployment, staging and capture. We will be live streaming on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and Twitter.
Please check the website tonight for the capture video if you missed it live.
She is all settled in at Wylie Animal Services and her street mom Christy is planning to adopt her immediately after her stray hold!!! Whoooo Hoooo!
Thank you to Officer Phillips and Officer Salas for your great partnership!
More pictures, video and updates coming soon! We have to head to Royse City on another case but we will update as soon as possible.
Wylie Animal Services got her vaccinated and spayed and now this sweet angel has been adopted by the family who was feeding her while she lived on the streets.
She is living her best life and she is a happy HAPPY little girl named “Princess”.
